Update: Liftoff of Falcon 9 at 5:27 p.m. EDT! The rocket successfully delivered 53 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit and landed its booster on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship.

Follow live as SpaceX targets 5:27 p.m. EDT, Friday, April 29, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket with Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

After liftoff toward the northeast, the rocket’s first stage will target a landing on the “Just Read the Instructions” drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. This will mark the 44th launch for the Starlink internet constellation.
