The first attempt at an Artemis 1 flight test was a no go for launch.
While the SLS rocket continues to struggle with wet dress rehearsals and fueling problems, the Artemis program is becoming a wet blanket.
The Artemis 1 launch was scrubbed after an engine bleed was discovered in engine #3.
The hydrogen leak was not the only reason to call off the launch, the inner tank also had a vent valve issue.
The risk of failure was high for this attempt as the SLS had never fully passed any previous tests successfully.
NASA engineers are working to troubleshoot the problems before the next launch window opens during the afternoon on Saturday, September 3rd.
